The Emergency Services Center at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center offers prompt,
comprehensive emergency treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Center's
mission is to treat all emergencies, from minor injuries to life threatening
emergencies.
The emergency physicians and nurses are highly experienced in managing health
emergencies in adults and children. Nurses are certified in Pediatric Advanced
Life Support. A team of board certified physicians work in cooperation with
other in-house specialists to provide efficient, quality treatment.
Patients entering the Emergency Services Center are rapidly assessed and
triaged. The hospital utilizes bedside registration and a triage process
designed to expedite patients to receive required care in an efficient manner.
